Infections with
the drug-resistant staph germ called MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus
Aureus) are approaching epidemic levels in some parts of the United
States according to federal epidemiologists. MRSA infections,
which are potentially deadly, are now responsible for an estimated 12
million outpatient visits each year for skin infections according to
the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Accurate
identification is critical to eliminating infections.
Mold
Molds are microscopic
organisms found virtually everywhere, indoors and outdoors. With the
presence of moisture, nutrients and temperature, mold can develop.
Long-term exposure to indoor molds can be unhealthy to anyone, but some
groups will develop more severe symptoms sooner than others, including
children, elderly people and those Individuals with respiratory conditions,
allergies and/or asthma. If a mold concern exist, it is important
to qualify and quantify the type and amount of mold so you can properly
assess all the risk implications.
